Nordic Countries
The Nordic countries are a group of countries in Northern Europe that includes Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. They are known for high living standards, strong welfare systems, and close cultural and political cooperation.
The Nordic region also includes autonomous territories such as the Faroe Islands and Greenland (under Denmark) and the Åland Islands (under Finland).
Scandinavia is a narrower term mainly referring to Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Sweden is the largest and most populous Nordic country, while Iceland is the least populous and Denmark is the smallest in area.
